The Sikh Encyclopedia describes Nirmal Sangat Lahori Tola, later redesignated Nirmal Sanskrit Vidyalaya, as an old sangat established and maintained by Nirmala Sikhs in the interior of Varanasi near the Vishweshwar Nath Temple area. The building is said to have originally been a mandir acquired by the Nirmala Sikhs around 1887. Guru Granth Sahib was seated on the first floor, and the institution was affiliated in the reference period with Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya. The source names a mahant, but Pothi treats that as a source-era leadership detail, not a 2026 fact. This is a historical Sikh institutional record without a fabricated Guru-visit claim.
