Bhai Jaita Ji undertook the difficult journey toward Anandpur with the Guru’s sis. Sikh local traditions preserve places where he and helpers are said to have halted along the route, including the memory of Dargahi Shah near present-day Nabha Sahib. This was more than transport. The journey ensured that the Guru household and Panth could honour the martyr with dignity and that the story of what happened in Delhi could be carried directly to the new Guru. For children and families, the lesson is practical: treat sacred responsibilities with care even when nobody is watching.
